Last year Darren successfully curated 3 contemporary art events titled PRISM at the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield. After researching current art spaces in Sheffield, Darren approached Bank St Arts with a view to organising a similar event using various galleries within the Bank St centre. |

Each event will focus on audio, video, performative and interactive works incorporating diverse media. Over the course of the programme, work will be exhibited in various spaces within Bank Street Arts depending on timescale and the projects budget. This will hopefully inspire creative practitioners to work with the many possibilities the Bank St premises have to offer. Ideally we would like the project to enable artists to exhibit outside the White cube structure currently seen in most places in Sheffield.
