Art in the Park |
| Art in the Park was initiated in 2003 by local artists living and working in North West Sheffield as a response to local need . Due to recent development working city wide alongside initiatives such as the Sheffield Children's Festival and the Off the Shelf writing and reading festival the group operates city wide. The aim is to encourage creative and alternative usage of local parks and green spaces through developing strong partnerships with other service providers and the community. AitP provide environmental arts events and activities for all ages that allow the community to explore their creativity, working with an artist and volunteers. Workis displayed in the area either on a temporary or permanent basis so that there is a sense of ownership over the park or building. |
